My Review / Notes / Thoughts

I know that I have personally struggled with imposter syndrome since high school. It is no fun, for sure, and it can create havoc and even depression in your mind. Learning to deal with it in a productive way, and even leveraging it to your personal benefit, is a skill that we all most likely need to learn! So this talk has certainly given me something to think about.

I think this talk would be a good one for high school and college students to listen to and mull over as they think about their future life goals and careers. It would certainly be a good First-Year assignment for students, especially if they are feeling insecure about being “qualified” to be in college.

How could you see using this talk to engage students? Or even, could you see using it in the workplace to help bolster the morale of employees? What types of assignments or activities would you pair with this talk to get people to really think about this issue and learn how to deal with it?

Until next time … live long, life-learner!
